Becoming explores the evolving journey of identity through a dynamic interplay of structure and movement. The grid-like lines represent the frameworks we navigate systems, expectations, limitations—while the circular forms, attempting to break free, symbolise the diverse paths, possibilities, and outcomes one might choose or encounter.

Each circle is a visual metaphor for a decision or potential, pushing against the boundaries that seek to contain it. This tension between order and expansion reflects the complexity of personal growth, how we negotiate between what is given and what could be.

Through textured layers and bold colour, the piece captures the nonlinear process of transformation. Freedom here is not fixed; it is unfolding, unpredictable, and deeply individual.

This work invites viewers to consider not just who they are, but who they might become.
