Inspired by whirling dervishes, Sufi explores the tension between freedom, control, and isolation. Swirling brushstrokes evoke the meditative motion of ritual dance, a spiritual act of release and transcendence. Layered colours and circular forms suggest continuous movement, while the three sculptural rings introduce moments of grounding, representing boundaries or anchors within the flow.

This work lives in a liminal space: the pause between turning and stillness, the line between inner solitude and expansive freedom. In this rhythm, the viewer is invited to consider the delicate balance of surrender and structure in the search for self and spirit.
